Under the guidance of the "Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area", educational integration and innovation in the region are accelerating. Hong Kong's distinctive foundational education is expanding beyond the Greater Bay Area to reach the entire country. The Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) curriculum has become a key initiative for integrating foundational education between the Mainland and Hong Kong.
A "National DSE Education Development Forum" was held to explore the current state and future prospects of DSE education in the mainland, including examination systems and teacher training, with local educational leaders, training institution managers, and frontline teachers. Our Chief Assistant Principal, Ms. Cheung Wai Shan, and Native-Speaking English Teacher, Mr. Eric, were honored as guest speakers at this national forum. They shared valuable insights into DSE exam trends and strategies with frontline teachers from the Greater Bay Area, fostering educational exchange between the regions.
The forum received extensive coverage from major news media across Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao, and the Greater Bay Area. Numerous connections, partnerships and initiatives have been established nationwide, promising exciting developments ahead.
