The NCS Parents’ day was successfully held on 9th October 2024. Prior to the commencement of the event, Muslim families were provided with a space to offer their obligatory prayers.

First, our NCS support teacher, Mr. Masood then introduced to the parents about the support that LTSS provides to NCS students. Our school is pleased to inform parents that extra Chinese classes and Putonghua classes have been held specifically for their NCS students during school time. After that, photos of activities were shown to exhibit the life-wide learning experience provided by our school, followed by the progress that NCS Alumni had made in their studies, giving an idea of the further study pathways available for NCS students.

Following the introduction from teachers, guest speakers from Translate for Her were invited to give a talk about parenting and school support to the parents. A Nepali mother, Babita, shared her experience and gave some practical parenting advice to the audience. Moreover, a booth was set up by Caritas Youth and Community Service to provide information of future studies and career planning to our parents and students.

Our school will continue with the collaboration with the NCS parents in order to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students. We hope not only to help the families assimilate into the Hong Kong society, but also to understand education and the career opportunities for academic, interpersonal, and moral development of NCS students.
