English Week is the perfect opportunity for students to practice English and have fun. We have chosen 'Mother`s Day' as the theme of this year`s English Week with several interesting activities.

To summarize the activities, we had card writing, flower redemption and Morning Reading Session. Students were taught to write notes of appreciation or poems that express their love to their mothers or guardians in English lessons. It is a good chance of creating a meaningful task and at the same time cultivating positive values for our students.

Besides writing cards and poems, students were given a reading comprehension to do during the Morning Reading Session. The passage is about the origin and history of Mother`s Day. Through these activities, students could enrich their world knowledge, develop positive life values, and more importantly, enhance their English proficiency.
