We are pleased to announce that three of our S.5 students, namely Lai Tin Yu, Gary (5A), Jasanveer Kaur (5B), and Mohammad Attia (5B), have been conferred with the prestigious Harvard Book Prize 2023. As their English teacher, Ms. Cheung is immensely proud of their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence. 

The Harvard Book Prize, established in 1910, is awarded annually to commendable readers in the next-to-graduating class. This year, Gary, Jasanveer, and Attia were among the 745 students from 253 local and international secondary schools in Hong Kong who received the Book Prize Award, making this accomplishment an exceptional one. 

Winning the Harvard Book Prize is an accomplishment that recognizes exceptional personal qualities, academic excellence, and noteworthy contributions to the school and community. We have witnessed firsthand the commitment and dedication that Gary, Jasanveer, and Attia have shown to their studies and extracurricular activities. 

We are confident that winning the Harvard Book Prize will open doors for Gary, Jasanveer, and Attia and provide them opportunities to further their education and pursue their goals. These students have demonstrated a love of learning, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for excellence, and we are proud to have them as members of our school community.
